I
1 EXHIBIT E— Reclamation Plan
I
I The final reclamation will be the same as the previous 2004 amendment with the
exception of the area that has been affected by the installation of the
I appurtenant inlet/outlet structure and pipeline to the river. The area affected is
approximately 1.0 acre on the west side of Brighton Rd. (see Henderson
aggregate easement), and approximately .1 acres where the inlet/outlet pipelines
Ipass underneath the Brighton Road ROW.
IThe area disturbed by the pump house will be reclaimed as a reservoir per the
previous amendment.
1
Where disturbed, the area affected by the appurtenant inlet/outlet structure and
Ipipeline to the river has been reclaimed to its prior topography and vegetation
except for the installed structures and maintenance road.
I
I
The post-mining uses will not change from the previous amendment except for
111 the operation of the pump house and the appurtenant inlet/outlet structure and
pipeline to the river. These facilities are currently being used: (a) to move water
Ifrom and to the South Platte River for water storage and release purposes at the
south cell of Pit 29; and (b) to release accumulated storm water from the north
1 cell of Pit 29. Upon completion of mining in the north cell, it is anticipated that
the pump house will be moved to its permanent location in the north cell as
Ishown on the previous amendment ; and, as so modified, the pump house and
the appurtenant inlet/outlet structure and pipeline to the river will be used to
Imove water from and to the South Platte River for water storage and release
purposes at Pit 29.
I
I
