<br />Legal Notice Representative of theSteamboat Pilot &
<br />Today, that the same is a daily newspaper printed, in
<br />whole or in part, and published in the County of
<br />Routt, State of Colorado, and has a general
<br />circulation therein; that said newspaper has been
<br />published continuously and uninterruptedly in said
<br />County of Routt for a period of more than fifty -two
<br />weeks prior to the first publication of the annexed
<br />legal notice or advertisement; that said newspaper has

<br />Peabody Sage Creek Miring, LLC, 36633
<br />Routt County Road 27, PO Box 250, Hayden,
<br />CO 81639, has filed with the Colorado DNi-
<br />slon of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety, an
<br />application for Technical Revision (No. 8) to
<br />the Sage Creek Mine, Permit C 09 087. This
<br />technical revision contains a request to make
<br />minor changes to the vegetation success cri
<br />teria for the Solid Waste Disposal Area.
<br />The mine permit area, encompassing ap
<br />proximately 10,164 acres, is located approx
<br />mately nine miles south of the Town of Hay-
<br />den, Colorado, off Routt County Road 27.
<br />The general legal description for lands at
<br />fected by the Mine Permit App ication Pack-
<br />age (PAP) are located in Township 5 North,
<br />Range 87 West, all or portions of Sections 1,
<br />2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21,
<br />and 22; and Township 6 North, Range 87
<br />West, all or portions of Sections 27, 28, 29,
<br />32, 33, 34, 35, and 3&
<br />The permit term is for five i5) years. Affects
<br />comprise only a small portion of the entire
<br />permit area. Surface and coal ownership
<br />within the proposed permit area include
<br />Sage Creek Holdings, LLC; the State of Col
<br />orado; and the U.S. Department of Interior
<br />(Bureau of Land Management). The owner -
<br />ship, precise location, and boundaries of
<br />lands within the permit area are identified !n
<br />Section 2.03, and on Map 2.03 -M1, of the
<br />PAP, and are included in this public notice by
<br />reference.
<br />Copes of the PAP, including the referenced
<br />Technical Revision application, are available
<br />for Inspection at the mine office and the of
<br />fice of the Colorado Division of Reclamation,
<br />Miring, and Safety. A copy of the Technical
<br />Revision application Is also available for pub-
<br />lic Inspection at the Hayden Public Library,
<br />225 E. Jefferson Ave. Hayden, CO 81639.

<br />nical Revision application should be submit
<br />led to the State of Colorado Division of Rec
<br />lamation, Mining, and Safety, 1313 Sherman
<br />Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado
