PROOF OF PUBLICATION <br />FORT LUPTON PRESS <br />COUNTY OF WELD SS. <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />I, Christopher Harrop, do solemnly swear that I am <br />the Managing Editor of the Fort Lupton Press is a <br />weekly newspaper printed and published in the <br />County of Weld State of Colorado, and has a general <br />circulation therein; that said newspaper has been <br />published continuously and uninterruptedly in said <br />county of Weld for a period of more than fifty -two <br />consecutive weeks prior to the first publication of the <br />annexed legal notice or advertisement; that said <br />newspaper has been admitted to the United States <br />mails as second -class matter under the provisions of <br />the act of March 3, 1879, or any amendments thereof, <br />and that said newspaper is a weekly newspaper duly <br />qualified for publishing legal notices and <br />advertisements within the meaning of the laws of the <br />State of Colorado. That the annexed legal notice or <br />advertisement was published in the regular and entire <br />issue of every number of said weekly newspaper for <br />the period of FOUR consecutive Insertion(s) and <br />that the first publication of said notice was in the issue <br />of newspaper, dated 17th day of December 2014 the <br />last on the 7th day of January 2015 <br />Managing Editor, Subscribed and sworn before <br />me, this 7th day of January 2015 <br />Notary Public. <br />February 2, 2018 <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Coors Energy Company (PO Box 467, <br />Golden, CO 80402) has filed an application <br />for a Phase I bond release work completed at <br />the Keenesburg Mine with the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety <br />(DRMS, permit C- 1981 -028, approved <br />November 3, 1981). The Phase I bond <br />release application requests release of bond <br />and liability for successfully completing <br />backfilling and grading in Areas 30, 31, and <br />32 within the mine site. Backfilling and <br />grading in these areas took place in 2006, <br />2009, and 2013, respectively and has been <br />shown to meet the approved post- mining <br />topography for the site. Phase I bond release <br />is sought for approximately 27.1 acres at the <br />site. The current bond is a corporate surety <br />calculated at $1,971,874 prior to the <br />proposed release and the amount requested <br />for release is $321,794. The areas proposed <br />are located within Section 25, Township 3 <br />North, Range 64 West of the Sixth Principal <br />Meridian, Weld County, CO. Coors Energy <br />Company is the surface owner of the <br />property for which bond release in being <br />requested. The permit area is located 7 miles <br />north of Keenesburg, CO and is accessed by <br />Weld County Road 59. A copy of the bond <br />release application is available for public <br />review at the Weld County Clerk and <br />Recorder's Office (1402 N 17th Ave, <br />Greeley, CO 80631), the Keenesburg Town <br />Hall, and at the DRMS (1313 Sherman St, <br />Room 215, Denver, CO 80203). In <br />accordance with Rule 3.03.2(3) any person <br />with a valid legal interest which might be <br />adversely affected by release of the bond, or <br />any federal, state, or local governmental <br />agency with jurisdiction over regulated <br />activities at the mine shall have the right to <br />file written objections to or comments upon <br />the requested release and/or file a request for <br />an informal conference with the DRMS <br />within thirty (30) days of the last publication <br />of this notice, or within thirty (30) days of <br />the completed bond release inspection to be <br />conducted by the DRMS whichever is later. <br />All comments, objections, and requests must <br />be submitted in writing to the DRMS at the <br />above address. <br />Published in the Fort Lupton Press <br />December 17, 24, 31, 2014 and January 7, <br />2015 <br />
