October 31, 2014 <br /> Harms Pit <br /> 6.43 EXHIBIT C-Pre-mining and Mining Plan Man(sl of Affected Lands <br /> One or more maps may be necessary to legibly portray the following information: <br /> The Harms Pit is located in Section 34, Township 11 North, Range 58 West near the <br /> intersection of County Road 124 and County Road 127 in Weld County, Colorado. The <br /> property has been used as a gravel mine under Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br /> Safety 110 (small mine) Permit M-2013-018. The operator intends to expand the mining area <br /> to include approximately 32.2 acres including the access road. Maps referenced below <br /> address the requirements of this 112 Reclamation Permit application for the expansion of the <br /> Harms pit. <br /> (a) all adjoining surface owners of record; <br /> See Map C-1. Harms Ranch, LLC owns all of the permit and surrounding surface lands in <br /> Section 34. The U.S. Forest Service is an adjoining surface owner to the access road across <br /> County Road 127. <br /> (b) the name and location of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil and gas wells and lines, and <br /> power and communication lines on the area of affected land and within two hundred <br /> (200)feet of all boundaries of such area; <br /> See Map C-2. <br /> (c) the existing topography of the area with contour lines of sufficient detail to portray the <br /> direction and rate of slope of the affected land; <br /> See Map C-2. <br /> (d) the total area to be involved in the operation, including the area to be mined and the <br /> area of affected lands(see definition of"Affected Land"); <br /> See Map C-2. <br /> (e) the type of present vegetation covering the affected lands;and <br /> The aerial photograph used in the background of Map D-1 shows that the area to be disturbed <br /> by mining is currently in use as dryland cropland. <br /> (f) in conjunction with Exhibit G-Water Information, Subsection 6.4.7, if required by the <br /> Office,further water resources information will be presented on a map in this section. <br /> No natural water resources are located on or adjacent to the affected area. No further water <br /> resources information is required. <br /> 112(3)(c), 115(4)(e) (g) Show the owner's name,type of structures,and location of all significant,valuable,and <br /> permanent man-made structures contained on the area of affected land and within two <br /> hundred(200)feet of the affected land. <br /> See Map C-1. Harms Ranch, LLC is the owner of record of all of Section 34, T11 N. R58W. No <br /> man-made structures are located within the affected area. A wind turbine (Tower N-9 of the <br /> Cedar Creek II Wind Farm) is located approximately 232 feet northeast of the affected area and <br /> is the closest man-made structure. Map C-1 illustrates the location of a Trailblazer Pipeline <br /> Company's 40' easement for a pipeline that crosses the access road. There are also utility <br /> lines associated with the nearby wind turbines. <br /> 6 <br />
