Name of Addressee <br />Page 2 <br />Date <br />Bowie Resources modeled SEDCAD 4 for eight culverts (Culvert 20 through 27) utilizing contributing <br />drainage areas having sedimentologic characteristics representative of on the ground conditions to <br />determine the adequate minimum size of each culvert. The Division believes use of the above mentioned <br />parameters is a valid approach to ensure the proper sizing of each culvert. <br />Based on Bowie Resources's SEDCAD 4 modeling, the Division finds that the culvert sizing and locations <br />are adequate to control run -off from the associated drainage areas derived from Map 7. <br />"Good ", and "Poor" in SCS <br />TR -55 for the respected <br />areas <br />Reasonable based on the <br />Hydrologic soil group classification <br />Permit <br />soil types within the <br />āCā <br />application., <br />drainage areas located on <br />Volume 7 Map 3 <br />Map 3, consistent with <br />group C <br />Slope data from <br />three locations on <br />Slope lengths and land use <br />Time of concentration <br />Summary pages <br />description inputs <br />in the SEDCAD <br />accurately match field data <br />runs <br />Bowie Resources modeled SEDCAD 4 for eight culverts (Culvert 20 through 27) utilizing contributing <br />drainage areas having sedimentologic characteristics representative of on the ground conditions to <br />determine the adequate minimum size of each culvert.
