Water levels were surveyed to ascertain elevations of ground and surface water in various locations.
Drainage galleries were dug through the silt and clay layer on the upper soils of the Einspahr property in an attempt
to allow for drainage through the alluvial soils below. The short-term plan has appeared to have success,as
indicated by reduced surface water levels on the Einspahr property observed during a visit on the 121h of December,
2014.
Brannan will be seeding all exposed topsoil in Cell 1 in early spring, then applying for the area to be released for
final reclamation. Cell 1 is being used as water storage currently, however it is Brannan's understanding that final
seeding with an approved mix is required prior to final release.
Brannan Sand and Gravel is attempting to finish mining in 2015.
Sincerely,
Joshua Oliver
Environmental Manager
(303)472-1736
joliver@brannanl.com
ink
2500 East Brannan Way I Denver CO 80229 1 303.534.1231 Tel 303.534.1236 Fax
www.brannanl.com
