Mann Resources, LLC
Permit # M- 1986 -079
29 -July -2014
Notes:
RECEIVED
JAN 022015
DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
MINING AND SAFETY
M &G PIT
2014 Annual Report
3 & 4. Mann Resources assumed this permit from Lafarge, Inc. in 2010 and
reclamation was ongoing at that time. Mining ended prior to Mann Resources
taking the permit over. Reclamation called for backfilling the lake area and
reclaiming the site the limited amount of material available had delayed the
progress of backfilling during the last year. We now have a approved Fill Permit
from Adams County that allows us to import uncontaminated fill material (clean
dirt).
9. We continued to backf ill the lake area with material as approved in the permit.
Backf ill material was placed in the northern part of the mine and along the west
side of the storm drain channel. Our plan is to eventually backf ill the lake area
and return the ground level to near what originally existed prior to mining. We
expect to have filling completed within 2 to 4 years as there is now a steady
source of fill material meeting our permit requirements.
11. Backfilling will continue in the cross hatched area ( / //) and along the edges of
the lakes until final grade is reached. There is currently enough material to
backf ill the lake to a level 2 feet above the water table if needed by grading the
backfilled areas.
16. The mine has an approved SWSP from the State Engineer and is replacing
water as backfilling progresses.
21. Please refer to the 2014 Annual Report Map for location of the areas of
1
