Nstiee Requirement:
No one lives within 1/2 rile
Exhibit A:
Enclosed map
^
Exhibit B:
1) There is alit of bushy pine trees on the site, not very tall,
no grass to speak of due to the thick layer of needles on the ground.
Also, there was some gravel taken out many years ago, I would estimate
1,000 to 1,500 yards were taken. The trees are ten to fifteen feet
high where this was taken. I would estimate 2-3 inches of top soil
is on the site. .
2) The only structure would be the four wire barbed wire fence along
the road.
3) No water resources of any kind are near the site.
4) I can't think of any impact on wildlife near the site.
Exhibit C:
1) I have customers wanting gravel now, so I would like to commence
operation by July 10, 1991, and end in approximately 25 years, depending
on how mush I sell and how deep it is to bed rock.
2) I will save all the top soil I can. The site is a ridge that
will be flattened off. I plan to stockpile the gravel myself. This
way each customer will not have a pile here and there. Also, I will have
better control of keeping the site where I want it. I will stockpile
the soil at the edge of the site; as soon as I have more than adequate
room for loading the gravel, I will begin pushing top soil back over
the affected area.
3) There is no overburden of rock en the' site. The trees taken out
will be used for wood to help heat our house.
4) I hope to go 20 to 30 feet deep, or to bed rock.
5) The only component would be the road to the site from Teller County
Road. #1.
6) The only disturbances would be top soil stock piles, nothing over
ten feet high and 100 feet long.
7) A new road off of Teller County Road #1 to the site would be
20-25 feet wide. There are no existing roads at the site.
8) No water will be used.
9) Ne water will be encountered at the site.
10) No water rights will be interferred with.
11) Only gravel will be mined at the site.
12) None
13) No processing will be done at the site.
(Note) Net related
Exhibit D:
1) Overburden will be replaced as soon as I have more than enough roan
for loading. I estimate 3-4 inches of material.
2) Nothing steeper that 5 to 1 (probably more like 6 or 7 to 1)
A. 2-3 inekes
B. At this altitude we plant before Jerre 1 er after October 1.
I think diseing would be adequate
C. S.C.S. will specify
n T have a drill to plant the seed.
