The NOI has a few clarifications that need to be addressed in order for the
notice to be considered adequate to begin operations.
1. The response submitted addressing the anomalous water chemistry in monitoring well
90-4 is adequate. The baseline levels established in the 5 quarters of data in 90-4 are
accepted and will be used as a toot to monitor for variances in water
quality/chemistry during and after the proposed project.
2. The NOI will be issued once an approvable reclamation bond and performance
warranty is held by the Division.
If you need additional information, please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining
and Safety, Grand Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado
81501, telephone no.
