New Horizon Mine Annual Hydrology Report <br />Rule 4.05.13(4)(c) Annual Hydrology Report Requirements <br />(i) Water quantity monitoring data is presented Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 of this report. <br />(ii) Water quality monitoring data is presented in Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 of this report. <br />Discharge monitoring reports (DMR) are submitted to the Colorado Department of Public <br />Health and Environment on a quarterly basis. Copies of each DMR are provided to the to the <br />Division during the report year and is included in this report by reference only. <br />(iii) A written interpretation of the data has not been included as it has not been requested by <br />the Division in accordance with Rule 4.05.13(4)(c)(iii). <br />The monitoring timeframe for this annual hydrology report is from October 2013 through <br />September 2014. <br />A description of the surface and ground water monitoring plan is located in Section 2.04.7 and <br />Appendix 2.05.6(3) -3. All monitoring locations are shown on Maps 2.04 -7 -1, 2.04.7 -10 and <br />2.04.5 -1. This above mentioned information can be located in Permit No. C- 2010 -089. <br />General Discussion <br />Surface Water <br />Surface water monitoring sites are comprise of several sites which comprise the current, <br />upstream and downstream condition and are briefly described below. Please see Map 2.04.7 - <br />1A for locations. <br />• SW -N1 is located on Tuttle Draw and represents the upstream condition above mining. <br />• SW -N3 is located on Tuttle Draw and represents the downstream condition below <br />mining. <br />• SW -N200 has been abandoned. <br />• SW -N201 is located on a private surface owner's field, and monitoring has been <br />suspended. <br />• SW -N202 is located on Meehan Draw and represents the downstream condition below <br />mining. <br />• SW -N203 is located on Glasier Draw and represents the downstream condition below <br />mining. <br />• SW -N204 is located on Glasier Draw and represents the up gradient condition. <br />Page 2 <br />
