Tri -State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. (Tri - State) <br />is the parent to Western Fuels — Colorado. During the 2014 Water Year, the mine did not discharge <br />through Outfalls 001, 002, and 003. Outfalls 002 and 003, and the associated ponds, have not been <br />constructed to date. <br />All NPDES outfalls, surface water, and groundwater wells have monitoring requirements <br />identified by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. The Colorado Discharge Permit System <br />(CDPS) also has specific monitoring requirements and effluent limits for the NPDES outfalls.
