Box 187
Craig, Colorado 81626
RE: Trapper Mining, Inc., Permit C- 1981 -010
4th Quarter 2014 Sediment Pond Inspections
Dear Ms. Perkins,
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has reviewed the above
referenced report. The fourth quarter sediment pond inspection reports and the pond capacity
data were received by the Division on December 8th, 2014. Sediment pond inspections were
conducted by Trapper on November 11, 13 and December 2, 2014 by qualified impoundment
inspectors according to the report and the report was stamped by you a Colorado Licensed
Professional Engineer. This report appears to be in compliance with the applicable sections of
Rule 4.05.9(14), (15) and (17).
The report indicated that Johnson #6 pond was cleaned and the riser was replaced. Also, the riser
for No Name #4 pond was replaced this quarter and it was noted that the new riser is leaking.
The cover letter indicates repairs to the No Name 94 riser will be done as soon as supplies arrive.
Thank you for submitting this report and for conducting the maintenance on the sediment ponds.
Sincerely,
6&ak-
Jared d Ebert
Environmental Protection Specialist, DRMS
Jared.Ebertkstate.co.us
OF COGO
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http: / /mining.state.co.us
John W.
