Rule 2.05.4(2)(e)(v) requires each permit to have a revegetation plan that includes a plan for pest
and disease control. Page 115c of the Keeneburg Mine permit contains this plan and indicates that site
will be inspected quarterly for weeds, pest and disease control purposes.
The report indicates that no areas were observed where noxious weeds, plant pests or plant diseases had
adversely impacted the normal growth and establishment of vegetation on reclaimed lands. It further
reports that two areas within the permit boundary where noxious weeds were observed, during the third
quarter of this year, have been treated and the infestation has been eradicated.
Thank you for the report. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at (303) 866 -3567, extension
8120.
Sincerely,
a-eN-
Jared Ebert
Environmental Protection Specialist
c o
OF' G
111
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http: / /mining.state.co.us
John W.
