The response addressing the low concrete compressive strength is adequate. Based on the
response to this critical issue, the Division grants conditional approval of the Quality Assurance
Monitoring & Test Results Final Report for Squaw Gulch VLF Pregnant Solution Storage Area
Project. Placement of spent ore approved in Technical Revision 72 (TR-72)may commence in order
to stabilize the high volume solution collection system(HVSCS)risers.
The conditional approval is contingent on CC&V providing adequate responses to the remaining
comments in the Division's aforementioned December 10, 2014 review. Comments 1 through 6, 7a,
b,d and 8 must be addressed within 30 days of this letter.
If you have any questions or need further information, please contact me at(303)866-3567 x8169.
Sincerely,
/Timothy A.
