EXHIBIT G WATER INFORMATION It is the operators intent to minimize the disturbances to the prevailing hydrologic balance of the affected land, of the surrounding areas and to the quality and quantity of the surface and ground water system, both during and after mining and reclamation. Albert Frei and Sons, Inc. believes they will be in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing water and water rights as they understand them. Because of the geographic features around the mine, all offsite runoff is or will be diverted around the disturbed area. Any storm water runoff will be retained on the site and directed into the mining area when the mining and filling is taking place. When filling is complete there will be no exposed ground water on the mine area that did not exist prior to mining. Located within the permit area are 4 areas covered with water, one is the old gravel mine lake in the northwest part of the property, one is in the old fish hatchery area and the other is associated with the Bull Seep/Spring Ditch area on the west side of Stage 1 . In addition, there are is a minor amount of wetland areas along the sides of the fish hatchery raceways and two small ponds in that area. The open water areas on the site contain approximately 8 . 56 acres of water surface depending on the ground water elevation in any given season. The wetland areas covers approximately 0 . 95 acres . The Bull Seep area will not be disturbed so the total Pre 1981 water area on the mine covers 9 . 51+ acres . If/or when we have to replace wetlands the area they cover will match the same surface acreages . Review of Division of Water Resources well permits in the area around the site indicated the ground water table lies 3 to 25 feet below the surface in this area. This information was obtained from Division of Water Resources (DWR) well records that show the average static water depth for wells around the mining operation. Ground water will be exposed by this operation so a well permit, Temporary Substitute Supply Plan and/or Augmentation Plan will be needed for this facility prior to mining within 2 feet of the ground water table . As explained in the Mining Plan, slurry walls will be constructed around the areas to be mined to eliminate exposing large areas of ground water. Both slurry walls will be certified to permanently address evaporation losses if the lined area were not backfilled. The landowners have 26(Revised 12/15/2014)
