AQTESOLV for Windows
Estimation window from 0 to 360 min.
NOTES
The well was flowing at a very small rate ( <<1 gpm) for an undetermined time prior to
the start of the test. Immediately prior to the test a slug was inserted into the well casing,
which displaced water but did not raise the water level, because the displaced water
simply overflowed from the casing. The test was performed by quickly removing the
slug, thereby lowering the water leve in the casing. Data to 6048 seconds (100.8 minutes)
were recorded by a pressure transducer and data logger. Manual measurements
started at 12528 seconds (208.8 minutes). Manual measurements the following day were
corrected for changes in atmospheric pressure as below, based on barometric pressure
data from Steamboat Springs; however, the data were not used in the test analysis
because of uncertainty regarding barometric efficiency of the aquifer.
time ft subtracted
(minutes) from displacement
1288.98 0.242
1412.98 0.267
1481.98 0.267
1573.98 0.240
Slug withdrawal
10/27/14 4 12:47:25
