• For any blast, blasting records will be prepared and retained at the mine, so as to be available for inspection
by the CDRMS and public, for a minimum of three years. Blasting records will contain all applicable and
relevant information, as required under Rule 4.08.5. Blasting records will be incorporated into the PAP as
Exhibit 50, Blast Design and Reporting Information.
Two explosive bunkers have been installed southwest of the portal area on unreclaimed spoils. A 400 x 100 ft. area
was leveled and graded to assure that surface drainage does not discharge from the site. Explosive storage bunkers
are located in the area shown on Map 24, Surface Facilities. The explosive bunkers conform to all Federal, State
and local regulations as they pertain to location, construction, utilization, and security. The bunkers will be
removed prior to backfilling and grading. Small -scale blasting activities may be conducted by contractors using
portable explosive bunkers or storage boxes complying with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
Within the Fish Creek Tipple permit area, TCC does not intend to remove or stockpile overburden material. In
addition, no surface blasting will be conducted. Therefore, the requirements of these sub - sections are not
applicable, for this area.
(b) Descriptions, including appropriate maps, prepared according to the standards of 2.10, and cross section
drawings, of the proposed disposal site and design of the spoil disposal structures according to 4.09. These
plans shall describe the geotechnical investigation, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and
removal, if appropriate, of the site and structures and shall be prepared by a qualified registered
professional engineer.
MR06 -213 2.05 -85.2 11/13/06
