Greeley
November 25, 2014
Gilbert Y. Marchand, Esq.
2737 Mapleton Avenue, Suite 202
Boulder, CO 80304
gym @gymlaw.com
RECEIVED
NOV 2 7 014
'DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
MINING AND SAFETY
VIA EMAIL
Re: Novem, 2014 Meeting Regarding Greeley's Sand and Gravel Mine, 25th Avenue
Site, 2002 -020
Dear Mr. Marchand:
As discussed at the meeting on November 7, 2014, please provide us with any and all
records regarding historical well production on the property, including but not limited to the
following:
1. Any metered data from the wells.
2. Ms. Uhland indicated that the binder she had with her at the meeting contained well
records for the Rodman property. Please provide these records.
3. All information and data associated with the pump test performed by Aggregate
Industries in 2009.
4. Any correspondence or any other documents or data from Aggregate Industries, Martin
Marietta, Lafarge, or other gravel mining companies pertaining to well production on the
property.
Additionally, please reconsider the decision to prohibit Mr. Schenderlein from entering
the Rodman property to monitor groundwater levels. Mr. Schenderlein's efforts are an important
source of data for us to assess the condition of the aquifer, and the Rodmans' decision not to
allow him on the property hinders our ability to make informed decisions regarding our
dewatering operations. Please advise accordingly.
City Attorney's Office . 1100 10th Street, Suite 401, Greeley, CO 80631 . (970) 350 -9757 Fax (970) 350 -9763
We promise to preserve and improve the quality of life for Greeley through timely, courteous and cost- effective service.
