5.3.7 Topsoiling <br />Overburden has been stripped from the mined areas to allow access to aggregate deposits and <br />stockpiled onsite. Stockpile locations are located away from daily operations for minimal <br />disturbance, as per the Rules. Placement of overburden will be done in such a manner to create <br />an approximately level construction pad for the installation of a slurry wall. <br />5.3.8 Revegetation <br />Methods of revegetation have not changed from the original Greeley 35th Avenue reclamation <br />permit, M- 1977 -036. Revegetation will not occur in areas to become a below grade reservoir. <br />5.3.9 Buildings and Structures <br />No historic structures are located on the Greeley 35th Avenue Mine property. <br />5.3. 10 Signs and Markers <br />A statement regarding the permit amendment to the Greeley 35th Avenue permit, M -1977 -036, <br />has been posted at the entrance to the facility. A fence surrounds the facility to mark the mine <br />and the Affected Area, according to Paragraph 3.1.12(2)(b). <br />5.3. 11 Spill Reporting <br />MMM will notify DRMS of any toxic or hazardous spills which occur on Greeley 35th Avenue <br />property. MMM will contain and remediate any spills which do occur, as appropriate, on an <br />individual case basis. <br />5.4 Topsoil Segregation <br />Overburden which has been stripped from active mining areas has been stockpiled outside of <br />active mining areas. Topsoil will be replaced as necessary after the construction of the slurry <br />wall is complete. Topsoil will be used for revegetation purposes. <br />5.5 Reclamation Implementation Schedule <br />Reclamation is anticipated to start in June 2014, when construction on the slurry wall <br />construction platform is expected to begin. Construction of the slurry wall is expected to <br />commence immediately after completion of the slurry wall construction platform and is expected <br />to be complete by October 2014. <br />The sequence of reclamation of the Greeley 35th Avenue Mine West Pit property will be as <br />follows: <br />• Completion of mining (ongoing/depending on market and environmental conditions) <br />• Construction of the slurry wall construction platform <br />
