2.04.7 Hydrology Description
(4)(b) The location of monitoring stations used to gather data for water quality and
quantity is shown on Map 9, Hydrologic Monitoring Location. The elevation
of the stations is depicted on Map 9 and tabulated in Exhibit 3.
(4)(c) See Maps 10A, 10B and 11 which present the potential pieziometric surface
of the water bearing zones and the B -2 Seam.
(4)(d) See Map 9 Hydrologic Monitoring Location and Map 23, Water Rights
Location.
(4)(e) The location of existing areas of spoil, waste and non -coal waste is shown on
Map 26, Previously Disturbed Areas.
(4)(f) There are no known gas or oil wells within the proposed permit and adjacent
area. All water wells within and adjacent to the permit area are shown on
Map 23a, Water Rights Location, Wells. With the exception of wells owned
by the Operator, there are three private water wells in the permit area as

Map code 1 is for a well owned by Barbara Chambliss. The well is located
about 1,500 feet from the affected area boundary..
Map code 9 is for a hand dug spring well owned by the Hughes Family. It
corresponds to water right 13 and the Operator's monitoring site SP5 -3.
Map code 10 is for a shallow well on land now owned by the Turkey Track
Ranch. The well corresponds with the Operator's monitoring site, SP -16.
The John and Mary Stephan's well permits (Map codes 4, 6, 7 & 8) are for
ponds and springs. The John and Mary Stephan's well permits are owned by
the Operator.
