EXHIBIT D
MINING PLAN
Mining is anticipated to commence on February 21, 2015, and continue thru February 21,2025 or
until the deposit is depleted. The mining will begin at or near the western boundary of the proposed
mining operation. The mine will be mined in several phases not to disturb more than 15+/-acres at
any one time. The topsoil will be stripped and stockpile at the western perimeter. The top soil piles
will be graded to a maximum 3-1 slope and seeded with native grass to prevent erosion. After a
phase a partially mined, reclamation will begin as to have a rolling mining/reclamation process going
on simultaneously to obtain a disturbance of not more than 15+/-acres. It is estimated that it will
take 10 to 12 months for each stage as identified in the mining plan maps. There is no over burden
below the top soil and all material will be used in the finished product. The deposit is estimated to
be 12 ft. in depth across the mining area. The total affected area is 103.54 acres+/-.There will be no
ground water encountered by the mining process nor will any surface water be affected. No storm
water run-off will be produced as the disturbed site will be burined and all storm water will be
retained in a catch basin where water will be allowed to percolate back into the ground within 72
hours. I believe no Colorado water rights will be affected or damaged by this mining operation.
Commodities to be extracted will be sand and gravel to be used as construction materials. No
explosives will be used in conjunction with the proposed mining operation. Below is a list of the
phases of the operation and the anticipated mining duration.
Phase 1: 9.18 acres 11 months
Phase 2: 8.48 acres 10 months
Phase 3: 12.51 acres 12 months
Phase 4: 10.01 acres 11 months
Phase 5: 8.82 acres 10 months
