11/17/2014
State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - Fwd: Zenith 2 Well
Corley
These old mines did not use the well that the Division of Water Resources found and you photographed at
your last inspection. It has 3 PVC pipes where it was drilled several times to go deeper. What was this well
used for and when was it used and by whom was it used? Is it on the DRMS's maps? I had no idea it was
there.
When will our objection to TR 50 be heard? Is the PVC pipe in MWNW damaged and can no longer function?
Linda
Date: Mon, 21 Oct 2013 10:51:46 -0600
Subject: Re: Zenith 2 Well
From: rob.zuber@state.co.us
To: saunders6l5@live.com
Hello, Linda
am looking at Map 12 in Southfield's PAP (Permit Application Package, which is all the documents for the
permit that are in our Laserfiche system) and the surface ownership map (Map 1). There are two mines shown
on this map: Zenith 2 and Canon Zenith. It appears that both mines are on Vento Group property rather than
Corley property. Let me know if you disagree.
Me
Rob Zuber, P.E.
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
303.866.3567, ex. 8113
On Fri, Oct 18, 2013 at 9:17 PM, Linda Saunders <saunders615 live.com> wrote:
Rob,
Yes, the photos you took during your inspection are of the well Dale Baker said was 8471 -
AD(Application Denied) that I had a copy of the permit and thought it was for MW23. Are there two Zenith Mines?
Linda
Date: Fri, 18 Oct 2013 16:23:41 -0600
Subject: Re: Zenith 2 Well
From: rob.
