MANAGEMENT <br />Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) would like to construct the Section 5 Road as shown on Map 9. The <br />purpose of the road is to provide safer access to panel 19 gob vent holes. On behalf of BRL, <br />enclosed is an application for a minor revision to provide for the construction of the Section 5 Road. <br />Also included with this revision are a copy of the corrected stipulations for coal lease COC- 75916. <br />Right of Entry <br />The land affected by this minor revision is located on two Federal Coal Leases, C -37210 and <br />COC- 75916. <br />Affected and Disturbed Area <br />There will be 1.2 acres of new disturbance. The affected area will increase 0.7 acres since 0.5 <br />acres of the 1.2 acres are located over the proposed workings. Approximately 0.2 acres of the <br />disturbance are located on new lease COC -75916 <br />Cultural Resources <br />See Volume VI, report numbers 19 and 21. <br />Soils and Vegetation <br />The soil types to be disturbed are Delson very stony loam, 20 to 60 percent slopes and Fughes <br />loam, 25 to 65 percent slopes. The vegetation type to be disturbed is oak brush. <br />Reclamation Estimate <br />An $5,345 reclamation estimate is enclosed. <br />A reclamation estimate, revised coal lease stipulations and Map 9 are enclosed. <br />Sincerely, <br />J.
