The full submittal package (including maps) follows via mail.
As previously noted, we are concerned that the CDRMS has progressively increased the individual components of
indirect costs to the point where indirect costs total approximately 32 percent, when compared with direct costs. This
amount is excessive, is not representative of actual indirects for typical large earthwork contracting, and should be
reviewed and adjusted to a more practical and realistic level. In the interest of finalizing the pending Permit Renewal,
we are willing to accept the Division's updated bonding calculations, however, we would request that the Division
review the basis and magnitude of the calculated indirect costs and consider making appropriate adjustments.
We appreciate your continuing support and assistance. As you proceed with your review, please feel free to contact me
with any questions, or to discuss —
Best regards,
Jerry
Jerry M.
