<br />the Delta County Independent, that the same is a weekly news-
<br />paper printed, in whole or in part, and published in the County
<br />of Delta, State of Colorado, continuously and uninterruptedly in
<br />said County of Delta for a period of more than fifty -two consecu-

<br />a vegetation evaluation performed
<br />during June 2013, a demonstration
<br />was made that untreated drainage
<br />from the reclaimed areas do not

<br />solids above natural conditions.
<br />The vegetation study concludes the
<br />area sampled appears to be more
<br />than capable of supporting post -
<br />mining land uses.
<br />The Bowie No. 1 Mine is located in
<br />Delta County, approximately four
<br />(4) miles north of Paonia, CO. The
<br />surface facilities, located north of
<br />the North Fork of the Gunnison
<br />River, are located in portions of
<br />Sections 23 and 24, Township 13
<br />South, Range 92 West; and Sec-
<br />tion 29, Township 13 South, Range
<br />91 West of the 6th P.M. The mine
<br />permit area is located on the U.S.
<br />Geological Survey 7.5 minute
<br />Bowie and Gray Reservoir, Colo-
<br />rado Quadrangle maps within the
<br />following sections.

<br />owned by numerous private land
<br />owners and the U. S. Government.
<br />The Bowie No: 1 Mine permit area
<br />contains 8,541 acres of land, 6,368
<br />acres of private surface and 2,173
<br />acres of Federal surface. Private
<br />minerals within the proposed per-
<br />mit area encompass 213 acres with
<br />Federal minerals accounting for the
<br />balance of 8,328 acres.
<br />A copy of the bond release appli-
