§4.02 SIGNS AND MARKERS
4.02.4 Duration of Maintenance
All signs and markers are maintained during conduct of all activities to
which they pertain.
4.02.5 Stream Buffer Zone Markers
No disturbance in stream buffer zones is anticipated and markers are not
required.
4.02.6 Blasting Signs
(1-3) Typically, no surface blasting is required at the site. During
construction at the site, some surface blasting may be required. If
blasting is needed, this blasting will be performed under the
supervision of a certified blaster.
Appropriate display signs entitled "Blasting Area" will be located at
the edge of the blasting area. These signs will be placed so that
any person traveling within the permit area or on a public road
right-of-way within 100 feet of the blasting area can clearly see the
blasting sign notice.
The charged holes marking the outside perimeter of the blasting
area will be flagged or marked so that the extent of the charged
area will be visible.
Warning signs entitled "Warning! Explosives in Use" will be placed
at all entrances to public roads or rights-of-way Leading to the
blasting area. A clear and descriptive plan will be placed beside
the warning sign explaining the blasting procedures, area of
blasting and times of blasting.
TR-20 4.02 - 2 3/01
