§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING
ACTIVITIES -- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION
PLANS.
Records of the above monitoring will be maintained on site and .
submitted to the Division annually in the form of an annual hydrologic
report. The annual hydrologic report will be submitted each year on or
before April 30"'
The data obtained from the monitoring program outlined above will be
utilized to determine if the mine is having an impact on the hydrologic
balance. Impact on the hydrologic balance will be evaluated by
analyzing rapid and/or unanticipated changes at a monitoring site. A
change in water quality might indicate the mining operation is causing
water bearing zones to mix or is disturbing water bearing zones.
(v) Hydrologic Reclamation Plan.
No hydrologic reclamation plan is proposed for potential mine
drainage. As long as mine drainage is discharged in
compliance with the requirements of a NPDES discharge
permit, no further treatment or action should be required.
(vi) Locations.
The location of each water diversion, collection, conveyance,
treatment, storage and discharge facility is presented on Map
7.
(vii) Restoration of approximate recharge capacity.
There are no areas within the proposed permit boundary of the
train loadout and stockpile area where surface mining
operations may impact the approximate recharge capacity.
i~
TR-020
2.05 - 45
3/01
