I `. §2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING
ACTIVITIES --MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION
PLANS.
2.05.1 Objective.
No answer required.
2.05.2 Operation Plan -Estimated Area for Life of Operation.
Coal produced from the Bowie No. 2 Mine is trucked to the loadout near
Paonia. The loadout will handle up to 5 million tons per year of coal
produced from the Bowie No. 1 and No. 2 Mines and/or other mines in
the area. The coal is then loaded into unit trains and shipped to its final
destination, typically amid-western coal fired power plant. No additional
disturbance is anticipated at the loadout. The loadout is capable of
handling the required coal throughput so no expansion should be
required.
TR-020
2.05 - 1
3/01
