Care will be taken to avoid spraying into the wetlands and to avoid soil filling
or disturbance.
During the program, we will be consulting with the Turkey Creek Conservation District and spraying
contractors to evaluate methods and chemical herbicides for effectiveness.
With all the areas of the site treated, Transit Mix will continue to insure containment and move toward
eradication in the years after 2016. During this time period, we expect that soil from the stockpiles at
the southwest corner of the site will be spread on weed eradicated areas and drilled with grass seed.
2
