(operator) to your
Preliminary Adequacy Review of October 1, 2014. These commitments are agreed to by
the operator.
The operator will commit to a two year weed treatment program of the infested areas
noted on our exhibit for the five main weed species:
• Saltcedar
• Russian olive
• Russian knapweed
• Musk thistle
• Canada thistle
The five above weed species are on the State B -List and are designated for containment.
"Containment" means maintaining an intensively managed buffer zone that separates
infested regions, where suppression activities prevail, from largely uninfested regions,
where eradication activities prevail. Therefore the first two years of the program will
work toward containment and future years toward eradication.
Please refer to the revised schedule in the enclosed WEED CONTROL PROGRAM.
The revised schedule now calls for the spraying of knapweed and thistle at once ir4r,.
first year.
