(GSB) has received your preliminary adequacy review letter dated
September 30, 2014 for the above mine site. GSB is respectfully requesting a 35-day extension of
time with a due date of November 21, 2014. This will allow us time to:
1. Determine the location of scrap brick backfill area.
2. Inspect the mine to determine if and how we can place the material into the pit.
3. Conduct further analysis on the tonnage of scrap brick we plan to haul to the mine site.
4. Review the reclamation plan map to determine the impact, if any, there will be on the final
reclamation plan.
5. Draft a more concise plan on how to compact and backfill the areas with brick scrap.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions at 303-783-3058 or by email at
jason.mcgraw@generalshale.coi-n.
Sincerely,
General Shale Brick, Inc.
Jason E.
