Cover and Production Cover and production will be compared to the reference area at the time of
reclamation. Cover and production data will be taken directly from the reference area as described
in Section V.J of the permit for comparison to the reclaimed area. The statistical comparisons listed
in Section V.J will then apply to confine reclamation success.
Woody Plant Density As a minimum standard, BME agrees to establish 1000 stems/acre. This
standard may be adjusted due to expected changes in the reference area over the mine life. The
standard will only be adjusted in consultation with DMG at the time of reclamation.
