This notice will be <br />published in the Glenwood Springs Post Independent as soon as possible. <br />The Sunlight Mine is a formerly permitted coal mining operation located in Garfield County, approximately <br />11 miles south of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The Sunlight Mine was operated by the Garfield <br />Energy Corporation. The Mined Land Reclamation Board revoked the operating permit and forfeited <br />the reclamation bond in 1987.
