This Technical
Revision is to state our noxious weed procedures. When noxious species are discovered Yuma County
Pest Control is notified and their recommendations are followed. Pest Control conveyed that the area be
inspected and sprayed in early spring ( March ) with Round Up. This treatment will burn back any live
Cheat Grass. Area should be observed and retreated as necessary.
Natural Recourses Conservation Service has recommended that re- seeding take place in late fall
( November/early December ). The recommended re-seeding mixture is on file in the permit
application. At the appropriate time we will carry out the recommendations.
Our procedure will be.
1. Inspect early spring
2. Report and follow proper recommendations
3. Inspection during the growing season and retreat as needed.
4. Reseed in late fall ( November/ Early December )
5. Re inspect in early spring
6. Repeat as necessary.
Thank ou and sincerely.
Howard McGinnis,
Truck and Mining Foreman
