Chris Gilbreath
Page 2
October 6, 2014
drainage areas have incomplete polygons, namely West 3 and East 1. North of sub-basin East 1, the
topography does not agree with the drainage boundary. Is it correct for the drainage boundary for
the sub-basin that drains directly to the pond to extend east of the hilltop signified by the 5775
contour? Please revise the map to accurately show the drainage areas and topography.
4. In the disclaimer for Appendix 2.05.3(4)-1, the ARCADIS report, there is a note that information on
“specific” segments of the ditches draining to Pond NHN-001 is superseded by the new appendix
(Appendix 2.05.3(4)-7). However, the Division understands that all of the segments of these ditches
are included in the new design. If we are correct, it would be clearer to the reader to revise this
disclaimer to refer to all segments of these ditches. Please make this revision or explain why it is
not appropriate.

If you have any questions, please contact me at 303.866.3567 (extension 8113) or
Rob.Zuber@state.co.us.

Sincerely,

Robert Zuber, P.E.

Environmental Protection Specialist
