TRAPPER MINING INC.
October 2, 2014, 2014
Mr. Jared Ebert
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Ebert:
-a r
DMS10N OF ROCLWATION
MINING AND SAFETY
Re: Trapper Mining Inc., Permit No. C -81 -010, Minor Revision MR -220
Minor K -Pit Buffer Disturbance Revision Adequacy Review Response #1
In a letter dated September 30, 2014 the division had three adequacy items to address for
submitted Minor Revision. The comments and response are below.
1. The revised map does not depict the currently approved permit boundary; it depicts the
proposed permit boundary change currently under review with PR7. Please submit a
revised map that depicts the currently approved permit boundary.
Duplicate copies of a revised M-1013 map are enclosed. The permit boundary was an oversight
on our part. It has been changed to the currently approved permit boundary.
2. The revised map does not indicate the acreage for each of the topsoil stripping and
reclaim parcels as the rest of the maps in this series currently do. Please revise the map
to depict these acreages.
The stripping outlines were taken from the proposed PR -07 maps and do not subsequently contain
the acreage labels. Map M-1013 has been updated to match the current map series in the permit.
3. Will the additional 2014 stripping acreage be mined within the 2013 to 2017 permit
term? If so, please submit a revised M10A series map that depicts this phase of the
operation.
At this time the current proposed stripping limit is a buffer on the south end of the pit. The
topsoil stripping depicted in this revision is required as of this year. Mining limits currently
projected on M -10A should be sufficient until next year. Trapper expects to submit a Technical
Revision if any further mining limit changes are proposed. Currently map M -1 OA is correct for
our current plans.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding the enclosed information.
P.O.
