BRL has included design information for newly named Culverts J10 and J11,
both draining to Ditch J8. Please submit revised design information for Ditch J8 to
account for the additional flow generated from Culverts J10 and J11.
BRL: Adding flow from culverts J -13 & 14 (previously named culverts J10 and J11)
impacts ditches, J3, J4, J7, J8, J9, J14, J15, J18 and culverts J1, J7, & J8 In addition,
the pond sizing requirements have changed. For simplicity, Appendix B in its entirety
has been re- printed. Please see revised pages Volume XI, Appendix B.
11. The design information provided on page Volume XI, App. B -87 indicates that the
peak discharge at structures #3 (Culvert J11) and #4 (Culvert J10) is 1.42 cfs. The
structure detail output for Culvert J11 is based on 1.91 cfs. Where is the additional
0.5 cfs entering Culvert J11, and what/where is the drainage area contributing the
additional flow?
BRL: Please see revised Structure detail for C -J14 (old C -J11 designation) on page
Volume XI, App. B -37.
12. BRL has proposed the installation of a half culvert to convey flow from Culvert
J11 to Ditch J8. Please provide design information for the half culvert.
BRL: Please see design of the half culvert, Culvert J -15, on page Volume XI, App. 13-
38.
13.
