March 24, 1999 <br />RGI #04437399 <br />• • <br />EXHOIT A <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />This request is to amend the existing permit (M -93 -050) for mining gravel in Section 34, Township 1 l <br />South, Range 67 West, in northern El Paso County according to the Construction Material Rules and <br />Regulations (the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials, Section <br />34- 32.5 -101, et. Seq., C.R.S. and 2 CCR 407 -1). The purpose of the amendment is to change the <br />permitted area from 14.6 acres to 146 acres (approximately 64.8 acres of affected land) located as <br />follows: <br />Section 34 <br />NW 1/4 <br />NW & SW 1 /4s of the NE 1/4 <br />Township 11 South <br />Range 67 West <br />The proposed mining permit area is part of a 722 -acre ranch (Tax Schedule number 7100000369) owned <br />by the applicants, Raymond and Robert Dellacroce. The area to be permitted is entirely within the <br />Dellacroce Ranch boundaries. The closest property boundary is more than 200 feet north of the proposed <br />mining area boundary.
