ENVIRONMENT, INC. PAGE 2
SEPTEMBER 25, 201 4
On Monday September 15, 2013 the inlet was capped and an
attempt was made to send a camera thru the 12 inch section of
pipe. This was from the inspection hatch east of Brighton Road
towards the lake. Quality Pipeline Service was hired to do a
camera survey of the pipe and they were able to investigate
approximately 350 feet of the pipe until they ran into some small
gravel that did not allow the camera to be pushed further into
the pipe. No obstructions were found that would indicate a
problem in this section. Attached is a copy of an airphoto with
the pipeline drawn on it, the blue line represents the pipeline
and the yellow highlighted section is the area inspected.
Albert Frei & Sons resumed monthly water depth monitor-
ing in August of wells, 1,2,3,4,7 and 8 and on September 16, 2014
this months measurements were taken. The attached sheet shows
the data collected on September 16th. When I added this to my
spreadsheet I noted there was a discrepancy from our reading and
those collected on August 11, 2014 by Arcades. There is a nearly
one foot difference from the date they collected and what I
collected on August 14th, 3 days later. When I added the Septem-
ber 16th data, it was apparent that there was something wrong. I
have asked them to investigate it from their end because I just
don't believe the groundwater table increased by 12 inches,
system wide, in a 3 day period.
In review, there has not been enough time since the pipeline
changes were made to determine the effect the work has had on the
groundwater levels and there is little change from the August to
September. I will keep you appraised of what Albert Frei & Sons
is doing as they continue to investigate the problem and monitor
the lake levels. If you have any questions please call me at
303 - 423 -7297.
Respectfully Submitted,
Environment, Inc.
T`
Stevan L.
