Sediment has built up within the containment berm and needs to be removed. <br />Containment berm around gas tank. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification sign was found at the gate entrance to the mine site. All information for compliance was <br />located on the signs. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />The topsoil pile was stable, marked and vegetated. The recent rain has caused cheatgrass to thrive on top of the <br />topsoil pile as well as the material stockpile. As per Rule 4.06.3(2)(a)(i), topsoil piles shall be protected by an <br />effective cover of non - noxious, quick - growing annual and perennial plants, seeded or planted during the first <br />appropriate growing season after removal for favorable planting conditions. Currently, cheatgrass (downy brome) <br />is a List C noxious weed and should not cover the topsoil pile.
