A check for the annual fee is being sent to the Division directly from Aggregate Industries' business center in Canada. Mining at the Brighton Mine was completed during the permit year ended August 28,2011. The aggregate processing plant, located in the northwestern portion of the site and associated supplies and equipment located west of the central reservoir were removed from the site during the permit year ended August 28,2013. Processed material stockpiles remain within the northwest area of the project while the reclamation phase of mining activity continue. Sloping of all phases of mining has been completed,and grading of the floors of the south and central reservoir cells has been completed. Leak tests for the slurry wall that was constructed in 2007 have been conducted by TetraTech. The south cell reservoir lining was approved by the Colorado Division of Water Resources on August 19,2010 and the central cell reservoir lining was approved by that agency on June 9, 2011. Approximately 43 acres of upland areas/slopes around the south reservoir were seeded in November, 2011. Reclamation activity in the north pond area in accordance with TR-5 continued in 2013-2014 and is projected to continue in 2014-2015.
