On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL), enclosed is a minor revision application to
incorporate two temporary culverts (T -F4 & T -F5) into the gob pile #2 area. Also, to differentiate
between permanent and temporary culverts, temporary culverts have been renamed to
incorporate a T -171 into their name, and will be listed separately on page App. B -2. Temporary
culverts approved with MR -161 and TR -89 have been revised to reflect the new naming
convention.
Culverts that have been renamed with this revision:
C -F5 (TR -89) - Culvert T -F1
C -F5 (MR -161) - Culvert T -F2
C -F6 (MR -161) - Culvert T -F3
In order to install Culvert T -F5, a new disturbance will be created. The area that will be
disturbed could be up to 0.9 acres between Topsoil stockpile E and Gob Pile #1. It is unlikely
that the entire area will be disturbed at this time, but the whole area is included in the material
balance for conservatism. All topsoil salvaged will be placed in topsoil stockpile E, or placed on
gob pile #4 which is currently undergoing final reclamation. Appendix A and Map -32 have been
revised to account for the new disturbed area and required topsoil replacement volumes.
Enclosed are revised pages /maps Volume 11 - Map 32, Volume IX - B -2, B -100 to B -107,
Appendix A and a reclamation estimate.
