Fortune Revenue Silver Mines Inc. Revenue Mine MCP Plan 2014
3.2.3 Potassium Amyl Xanthate — Powder
Potassium Amyl Xanthate should be stored in a dry, cool, ventilated place. It should be kept away from
heat, and moisture. It should be stored between 50 degrees and 90 degrees F. It should not be allowed
to age as aging, as well as heat and moisture can cause some decomposition.
Potassium Amyl Xanthate is considered to be stable. It begins to decompose above 267 degrees F and
can auto - ignite. It is incompatible with moisture, strong oxidizing agents, acidic material and high
temperatures. The storage containers should be kept closed when not in use. When it decomposes, it
produced carbon disulfide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of sulfur and hydrogen sulfide.
3.2.4 Flotecc F -120 Frother /Collector (Aero 404) — Liquid
Flotecc Frother F -120 should be stored in a cool, dry place. It should be kept at room temperature and
away from heat and flame. Precautions should be taken to prevent electrostatic discharge. It is
recommended to be stored in carbon steel containers with effective moisture control. See MSDS for
more details.
Flowtecc Frother F -120 is considered to be stable. It flashes at 102 degrees F. Strong oxidizing agents,
strong acids and alkalis should be avoided. If it decomposes, it may produce carbon dioxide and/or
carbon monoxide.
3.2.5 Copper Sulfate — Granular
Copper Sulfate should be stored in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry, well- ventilated area away
from incompatible substances. It should be protected from moisture.
Copper Sulfate is considered to be stable at room temperatures in closed containers. High temperatures,
dust generations and exposure to moist air or water should be avoided. It is incompatible with strong
bases, hydroxylamine, and magnesium. Decomposition may produce oxides of sulfur and copper fumes.
3.2.6 Flow Tech Frother 534 (MIBC) — Liquid
Flow Tech Frother 534 should be stored in a cool, dry place. It should be kept at room temperature and
away from heat and flame.
Flow Tech Frother 534 is considered to be stable. It flashes at 102 degrees F. The chemical is readily
biodegradable as shown on the MSDS sheets. Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and alkalis should be
avoided. If it decomposes, it may produce carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide.
10
