HARRY AKA I)OT
8 Irwin Street Gunnison, CO 812.30
Phone: (970) 641 -3398
.Ubarry @ roadrunner.cosu
Midas Mining Company Inc.
2202 Elk Road
Lake City, CO 81235
Dear Wayne and Reed,
9/2/14
It was good to see you guy again this year and to see that you are both in good health.
Sorry we could not stay and have dinner with you but maybe next time.
It is a good thing that we did not skip this year's treatment. There were more Yellow
toadflax and Canada thistle still hanging on than I expected. We are making progress
but it is slower than I think it should be. As you saw there is still a small patch of Yellow
toadflax and just a scattering of Canada thistle that are probably suckers from roots that
have not been killed.
I am concerned about the late treatment on Yellow toadflax and suggest that we treat it
a couple of weeks earlier next year. As you know my wife Judy pulled the flowers off of
the blooming plants, in addition to my spraying them with Telar, so they would not seed
this year.
The site looks good overall. The noxious weed site is now well vegetated with grass and
there does not seem to be any damage to the tress at the perimeter.
Thanks again for thinking of us and we look forward to seeing you next year, if not
sooner.
Jim and Judy Barry
