Entities Subject to Wastewater, Stormwater, Pretreatment, and /or Reuse Fees <br />For the Period of 7/1/14- 6/30/15 <br />The Clean Water Program of the Water Quality Control Division protects the environment and the health of <br />citizens by ensuring that discharges from permitted facilities and other regulated activities (e.g., reuse water and <br />pretreatment entities) are conducted in accordance with applicable requirements. In addition, the Permits <br />Section provides compliance and technical assistance to permittees and other regulated entities by helping <br />them to understand and meet the requirements of permits and applicable regulations adopted by the Water <br />Quality Control Commission. Most of the funding for this program comes from fees authorized in Part 5 of the <br />Water Quality.Control Act. Significant. funding for this program is also provided by the Colorado General__ _ . _ __ <br />Assembly through general tax funds and by the federal government through annual grants to the Division. <br />The annual fee varies according to discharge and /or system type and facility design capacity and is established in <br />statute ( §25- 8- 502(1)(b), C. R. S.). The Act can be found at the following url: <br />http ; //www.cdphe.st ate. co. us/ oa/ wacc/S tatutesReasPolicies /ACT2009.pdf The enclosed fee invoice was <br />prepared using the statute and facility /activity information maintained by the Water Quality Control Division. <br />The invoice is for the permit that is active during the time period of 7/1/14 - 6/30/15, and identifies the system <br />type and flow range, as applicable, for permitted facilities and other regulated activities. <br />If you have questions about your fee or would like to locate the site of an existing permit, please visit <br />www.coloradowatervermits.com or call the Water Quality Control Division's Permit Fee and Drinking Water Fee <br />Customer Assistance Line at (303) 692 -3616.
