Handling sticky or plastic soils in a <br />saturated state will reduce the quality of the topsoil by degrading the physical <br />characteristics. <br />Nutrients or other soil amendments will be applied to the redistributed topsoil <br />if shown to be required by soil tests based upon known plant nutrient <br />requirements. Rates of nutrient application will be determined by soils tests <br />of the topsoil prior to seeding.
