Soil Survey <br />Some of the soils within and adjacent to the proposed permit area were sampled by the USDA Soil Conservation <br />Service (SCS) in 1975. Subsequent soil mapping conducted in 1976 utilized an Order 2 sampling intensity. At <br />that time, portions of Energy Mines I and 2 were already disturbed.
