C. Scarify surface to depth of 3 inches where topsoil is scheduled. Scarify in areas where <br />equipment used for hauling and spreading topsoil has compacted subsoil. <br />3.4 PLACING TOPSOIL <br />A. Place topsoil in all disturbed areas outside of liner limits and on liner in all areas above <br />normal operating water surface elevation. Place topsoil during dry weather. <br />B. Fine grade topsoil to eliminate rough or low areas. Maintain profiles and contour of <br />subgrade. <br />C. Remove roots, weeds, rocks, and foreign material while spreading. <br />D. Lightly compact placed topsoil. <br />E. Leave stockpile area and site clean and raked, ready to receive seeding. <br />3.5 TOLERANCES <br />A. Top of Topsoil: Plus or minus 1 inch. <br />3.6 PROTECTION OF INSTALLED WORK <br />A. Section 01 70 00 - Execution and Closeout Requirements: Requirements for protecting <br />finished Work. <br />B.
