Jessica Loveland of Mountain Coal <br />Company, LLC accompanied the inspection, and represented the operator. <br /> <br />The weather was warm and overcast. The site had received rainfall the preceding week, but was dry at the time of <br />the inspectio <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Ditches throughout the mine site were clear of sediment, well maintained, rip-rapped , or reinforced where <br />appropriate. <br /> <br />Ditches inspected included: <br />D5E-31, D5E-2, D5E-3, D5E-6, D5E-7, D5E-8, <br />DNSSA-3, DNSSA-1,DNSSA-4 <br />D7-1 and D7-2, DRPE-1, DRPE-2, DRPE-3,C5E-3, <br />DCW-11, DCW-12, DRPE-11 <br />DSLY-1G, DSLY-2 (rip-rapped), DSLY-3 (rip-rapped), DSLY-4, DSLY-5, DSLY-6, DSLY-7, DSLY-8a & 8b, <br />DSLY-9, DCW-6B, DSC-1, and DSG-2 <br /> <br />All checked culverts were clear of debris and in good condition. <br /> <br />Most of the sediment ponds are lined. All ponds except NSSA Pond were holding water. NSSA was dry at the <br />time of the inspection.
