The remaining void will be filled by trimming the existing top <br />surface of the pile and pushing that material northward until the full surface of the pile <br />achieves the approved configuration. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The July 2014 inspection report noted an abundance of musk thistle plants to the north and <br />west of the main topsoil stockpile at King 11. These plants have now been eradicated. Mr. <br />Wymore indicated that GCC may also elect to remove those thistles located just outside the <br />disturbed area, in order to reduce the seed source for future years. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION — Rule 4.17: <br />The Haul Road and Access Road at King II were dry and becoming somewhat dusty. Mr. <br />Wymore said that the roads were scheduled for treatment with Magnesium Chloride the <br />following week. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />• A northern goshawk was seen and heard circling above the shop bench at King I. <br />• Mine personnel commented that wild turkeys have been more plentiful than usual in the Hay <br />Gulch area this year, and that the rabbit population seems to be on the increase. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />• The mine's permitting records were available in Tom Bird's office in the main office <br />building at King IL A completed DRMS Availability of Records form is attached to this <br />report. <br />• The Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and <br />Countermeasure (SPCC) plan are kept in Mr. Wymore's office, now on the second floor of <br />the main office building. <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS /COMPLIANCE <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 Page 5 of 11 <br />
